The 12th anime related Japanese doll line from Yoshitoku features tailored clothes from Yoshitoku Doll Company - the traditional Japanese Doll Manufacturer established over 300 years ago in 1711 (they are literally older than the United States) and makes hand crafted Japanese dolls for the Japanese royal family. Their location has remained the same in Tokyo from generation to generation and is considered to be the oldest doll merchant in Tokyo.
The Super Sonico doll features her in a beautiful kimono made of red-based gold brocade fabric, woven with floral patterns and gold threads. The fabric is produced by Bando Shoten, a company that is representative of the textile style in Kyoto. Sonico hold a shamisen (instead of a guitar) and a plectrum to match her personality as a musician.
The low-cut style of her kimono displaying Sonico's ample bosom is a node to her work as a gravure model.
She is a must have for collectors of Super Sonico and Japanese culture icons!
